The greatest gift of all is something that cannot be bought. It is free. It is the love, grace, and mercy of Jesus Christ.

Here is my testimony:
Right before I had my son almost 7 years ago, I had this longing in my heart. It was something I tried to fix by buying things I didn't need. But nothing would fill that void.

Right before my son was born my sister in law came to live with us. She taught me that maybe that void was God not being a part of my life. I thought she was insane. How could that cause a hole or a void I wondered. Sunday after Sunday I watched her go to Church all the while inviting us to go with her. I declined time after time. Well finally one Sunday I went. Then I continued to go back. Sunday after Sunday. Until it occurred to me that maybe that hole was slowly getting smaller. I no longer was trying to fill it with things. Stuff can't make you happy. The only true happiness is found in God's love.

It took about 3 months before I decided I needed God's love in my life and I said the prayer for salvation. My life has never been the same. I no longer try to fill my life with stuff. I have learned it's better to give than to receive. I used to be such a selfish person but because of God's grace I have changed. It didn't make me stop sinning, it just lets me know every day's a new day.

I pray to God many many times a day for forgiveness for my sins and try daily to turn the other way and no longer sin. But God knows that we are humans and we are going to sin everyday. The only sinless person is Jesus Christ and he died and took all our sins with him.

If you are looking to fill a hole with stuff, drugs, sex, or whatever sin you might be choosing know that God is always waiting for you to come to him. IF you are ready to accept Jesus'  free gift of salvation come to him just as you are RIGHT NOW. Don't wait until you get your life together and stop sinning, it won't happen. We are all sinners.

Some of us just have the grace of God covering us and his Holy Spirit guiding us to make better choices than we made yesterday. Come to him today.

If you are ready say this prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I do not deserve eternal life. But, I believe You died and rose from the grave to purchase a place in Heaven for me. Jesus, come into my life, take control of my life, forgive my sins and save me. I am now placing my trust in You alone for my salvation and I accept your free gift of eternal life."

If you have trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, please let me know. I want to rejoice in what God has done in your life and help you to grow spiritually.
