On this day in life we gather
In joyous harmony
With love that is ongoing
Because of liberty
With independent values
With freedom that we share
Our hearts may all be
different
But we're constantly aware
That through the many troubles
The war and all the pain
One thing in life a constant
That our freedom shall remain
And each year there's a chorus
Of all the love we share
In honor of our country
For the mantel that she wears
Freedom's light is shining
With familiar colors bright
The effervescent sparkle
That makes us all ignite.
