William A Ward said, "If the room of your life is filled with the darkness of despair, it need not remain so. You have the power to kindle the flame of faith, to light a candle of hope, to turn on the lamp of love, to pull back the curtains of fear, to raise the windows of doubt, to unlock the doors of defeat, and to step out into the street of service."

In all our lives, we have been given the power to choose light over darkness, and life instead of death. The choices we make will determine our eternal destiny. Many times there may seem to be clouds of doubt where one cannot seem to see the light of day. Behind every cloud, we find Jesus and know He is just a heartbeat away. When we need His help, He is an ever present help in time of need.

Without faith, it is impossible to please the Lord. When we walk by faith, doubt does not have a chance in our lives. Fears have to leave when faith is present. When we let Jesus be Lord of our lives, we know that all things are possible with God. We cannot stand on our own without the help of the Lord, but with His power, we have all we need to live a victorious life.

Jesus will light up our lives and fan the flame of faith within our hearts. His love will carry us through as we lean on Him and not to our understanding. It's so good to know that when we acknowledge Him in all our ways, He will direct our path. With the Lord leading the way, we have no reason to fear or falter. His light will shine brightly that we may follow on by faith and reach our destination safely. When Jesus is Lord of our life, we will never walk alone. We have wonderful promises to claim in the name of Jesus. Keep walking on in His strength and power.
