Wonderful, Merciful, Savior,
Precious, Redeemer and Friend,
These and more you are, but…
Amazing grace how sweet the sound…

Those words, so beautiful to hear,
To know you are my amazing grace.
That saved a wretch like me…
Yes Lord, a sinner I am,
And though I am not worthy,
You saved me still.

I once was lost but now I am found…
Lost in tribulations and sorrows,
Wandering in darkness of sin.
You sought me and found me
And brought me to your fold again.

I was blind but now I see…
So many times I closed my eyes
In guilt and shame,
Your truth opened my eyes,
And showed me the way
That leads to glory.

Counselor, Prince of Peace,
The Almighty, an Awesome God,
Yes, you truly are,
But to me you are Amazing Grace.
